RISK DISCLOSURE

Read this the way

EFFECTIVE 2026-07-23

1. Substantial risk of loss

Trading futures and options involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Leverage works against you exactly as efficiently as it works for you. You can lose more than your initial investment in futures. Only risk capital — money you can afford to lose entirely — should be traded.

2. Penthaus provides information, not advice

Nothing on this site or terminal is a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument. We are not registered as an investment adviser, commodity trading advisor, broker-dealer, or futures commission merchant, and we do not manage money. Headlines, filings, calendars, and volatility context are inputs; the decisions — and their consequences — are yours.

3. Data limitations

Feeds may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong, and their delays are disclosed on the Data Receipts page. Quotes shown are delayed cash indices, not executable prices. Congressional and insider filings are public records that lag the underlying trades by law — the STOCK Act allows up to 45 days. Never trade on the assumption that our data is faster, fresher, or more complete than it claims to be.

4. Prop-firm accounts

Desk tools that track evaluation and funded-account rules (trailing drawdown, daily loss limits, consistency) are calculators based on the numbers you enter. Your prop firm's own accounting is the only accounting that counts. Penthaus is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for the policies of any proprietary trading firm, and firm names appear only because you enter them.

5. No performance claims

We make no claim that any subscriber makes money, and we publish no win rates, no P&L screenshots, and no testimonials promising returns. Past performance — anyone's — is not indicative of future results.

IF ANY OF THIS IS SURPRISING, DO NOT TRADE FUTURES.
